fuse strip 63amp ANL
| Description | The ANL 63 Amp fuse strip is an ANL-type fuse with a rated current of 63 amperes, intended for use in 12V and 24V direct current systems in vehicles, trailers, motorhomes and marine installations. ANL fuses are used in the main power cable between the battery and the distribution board or inverter, where protection of heavy-gauge wiring is essential. The fuse strip inside the housing melts when a sustained overcurrent exceeds the rated value, interrupting the circuit and preventing damage to the wiring and connected equipment. The 63 ampere version is suited for applications with a relatively limited power demand, such as smaller inverters, charge controllers or secondary power circuits. ANL fuses are mounted in a compatible ANL fuse holder and can be replaced without tools, simplifying maintenance and field replacement. The fuse is not resettable after blowing and must be replaced with a unit of identical ampere rating following activation. When sizing the fuse, the maximum current load of the cable and the connected components must be taken into account. |
