| Description | The PG 11 locknut is a zinc-plated metal retaining nut used in combination with PG 11 cable glands to securely lock cable entries in control cabinets, junction boxes and installation enclosures. The PG (Panzergewinde) size 11 matches the corresponding gland thread profile in accordance with DIN 40430, suitable for cables with an outer diameter of 5 to 10 mm. By tightening the locknut from the inside against the enclosure wall, the gland is mechanically secured and sensitivity to vibration is reduced. This is critical in mobile applications such as trailers, vehicle bodywork and industrial machinery. The nut is made from zinc-plated steel for corrosion resistance in humid environments. Supplied in packs of 10, allowing multiple cable entry points to be completed in a single operation. |
