This 15-pin socket is supplied complete with crimp contacts and complies with ISO-12098, the international standard defining the electrical interface between towing vehicles and trailers or semi-trailers that require functions beyond those provided by a standard 7-pin connection.

The socket is mounted on the trailer side and serves as the receiving connector for the corresponding 15-pin type AK plug.

All 15 contact positions are assigned to specific electrical functions in accordance with ISO-12098, covering systems such as ABS, EBS, lift axles, supplementary lighting and refrigeration units.
