| Description | This black adhesive-free heat shrink tubing has a pre-shrink diameter of 9.5mm and shrinks to 4.8mm, corresponding to a 2:1 shrink ratio. Supplied in a box containing 8 metres, this format is suited to installers, maintenance technicians and automotive electricians who need a readily available stock in a tidy, protected format. The box packaging prevents dust, moisture and physical damage to the tubing during storage and handling. The tubing is manufactured from polyolefine and offers resistance to oils, fuels and industrial chemicals common in automotive, marine and factory environments. Without an adhesive inner lining, it can be repositioned freely before shrinking and does not leave residue on underlying components. The black colour provides UV stability for outdoor and underhood use. The 9.5mm initial bore suits multi-conductor bundles, connector housings and cable transitions of varying sizes. Post-shrink maximum operating temperature is approximately 125°C. The product is RoHS compliant and halogen-free. |
