| Description | This black adhesive-free heat shrink tubing has a starting diameter of 38.1 mm and shrinks to 19 mm when heated, providing a 2:1 shrink ratio. Supplied in a 5-metre length, it is designed for covering larger cable diameters, wire harness bundles, heavy-duty connecting hoses and large connectors in industrial and automotive applications. The large diameter makes this tubing applicable for heavy wiring in trailers, trucks and technical installations where substantial cable diameters are present. The polyolefine material resists oils, fuels and common chemicals. Operating temperature ranges from -55°C to +125°C, making the product suitable for use near hot engines as well as in cold outdoor environments. Without an adhesive layer, the tubing provides electrical insulation and mechanical protection only, without a watertight seal. The black finish is UV-resistant. Applicable in 12V and 24V systems. RoHS-compliant and halogen-free. |
