| Description | This adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing has a starting diameter of 18mm and shrinks down to 6mm, providing a 3:1 shrink ratio. Each piece is supplied as 3 metres, making this length suitable for larger projects or applications where longer cable sections need to be protected and sealed. The integrated adhesive layer melts during shrinking and forms a watertight, airtight bond around the cable or connection. This makes the tubing highly suitable for use in humid or corrosive environments such as trailer installations, marine applications and industrial outdoor systems. The material is polyolefin, resistant to UV radiation, oil and common chemicals. Shrinking is performed with a hot air gun at approximately 120°C. The larger starting diameter of 18mm makes this tubing applicable to thicker cable bundles, connectors and cable entries that require a robust seal.
