| Description | This adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing has a pre-shrink diameter of 12mm and shrinks down to 4mm, giving a 3:1 shrink ratio. Supplied in 3-metre lengths, it combines a polyolefine outer wall with an inner layer of hot-melt adhesive that flows during shrinking to create a watertight seal around cables, connectors and fittings. This dual-wall construction makes it the appropriate choice wherever moisture ingress, corrosion and vibration are concerns, including marine wiring, outdoor electrical installations, vehicle harnesses and industrial junction points. The 3:1 shrink ratio provides greater versatility when covering tapered connectors, uneven splice points or components with varying diameters along their length. The tubing is resistant to oils, fuels and a range of chemical agents. Once fully shrunk, the adhesive layer bonds firmly to the substrate, providing strain relief and resistance to mechanical stress.
