| Description | This adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing starts at a diameter of 12mm and shrinks down to 4mm, providing a 3:1 shrink ratio. Each piece is supplied as 1.2 metres, ready for immediate use in sealing and protecting cables, conductors and electrical connections. The internal adhesive layer melts during the shrinking process and creates a watertight, airtight seal around the underlying joint or cable. This makes the tubing suitable for use in humid, wet or corrosive environments such as trailer wiring, marine installations and outdoor electrical systems. The base material is polyolefin, resistant to UV radiation, oil and common solvents. Shrinking is achieved with a hot air gun at approximately 120°C.
