| Description | This red adhesive-free heat shrink tubing has an initial diameter of 25.4 mm and shrinks down to 12.7 mm upon heating, delivering a 2:1 shrink ratio. The red colour makes this tubing especially suitable for colour-coding in electrical installations where visual identification of conductors, phases or polarities is required. Manufactured from polyolefine, the material resists fuels, oils and common chemicals found in technical applications. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C. Without an adhesive liner, the tubing provides mechanical insulation and protection only, without waterproofing. Suitable for cables, connectors, solder joints and connections in vehicles, trailers and industrial installations operating at 12V or 24V. UV-resistant and therefore appropriate for outdoor environments. RoHS-compliant and halogen-free. |
