| Description | The Raychem heavy-wall heat shrink tubing with adhesive liner is available with an internal diameter of 24mm shrinking down to 6mm, supplied in 75 centimetre lengths. The internal adhesive layer melts during heating and forms a watertight seal around the underlying cable or connection, excluding water ingress, moisture and corrosive environmental influences. With a shrink ratio of 4:1, this tubing is suitable for a wide range of applications where significant diameter transitions must be bridged, such as irregular connections, terminal ends or sections with variable cable diameter. Raychem, part of TE Connectivity, is recognized for reliable heat shrink products used in automotive, marine, industrial and aerospace applications. The heavy-wall construction provides additional mechanical protection beyond the insulating and sealing function. The tubing is compatible with heat guns or open flame and reaches its final dimensions when heat is correctly applied.
