| Description | This heavy-wall heat shrink tube with adhesive liner has an entry diameter of 34mm and shrinks down to 8mm, providing a shrink ratio of approximately 4:1. Each piece measures 20 centimetres in length. The internal adhesive liner melts during heating and flows around the cable or joint, creating a fully sealed, waterproof and mechanically robust connection. This makes it particularly suitable for applications requiring protection against moisture, water, oil and corrosion, such as marine installations, vehicle electronics, trailer wiring and industrial outdoor assemblies. The heavy wall construction offers superior mechanical protection compared to standard thin-wall tubing, reducing the risk of kinking and abrasion damage at the termination point. The tubing can be applied using a heat gun or open flame and shrinks uniformly around the connection. The large entry diameter of 34mm accommodates cable joints, solder connections and connector blocks of considerable size.
