| Description | The Duraseal ring cable lug in red is suitable for cable cross-sections of 0.5 to 1.5 mm² and features a ring inner diameter of Ø 6.5 mm. Supplied in packs of 100. The Duraseal system incorporates a built-in thermally activated adhesive-lined heat shrink seal that, once crimped and heated, forms a watertight enclosure around the cable connection. This makes the lug particularly well-suited for use in humid or wet environments, including trailer wiring, marine applications, outdoor lighting, and vehicle installations. The red colour coding indicates the conductor size range in accordance with the common European wiring standard. The lug body is manufactured from tinned copper, providing reliable conductivity and resistance to oxidation. After crimping, the integrated heat shrink is activated using a heat source, causing the adhesive lining to bond tightly around the cable and barrel for a hermetic seal. The Ø 6.5 mm ring diameter is compatible with M6 bolts and standard fixing points. |
