| Description | Flat connector sleeves with tab for conductor cross-sections between 0.5 and 1.5 mm² are supplied in packs of 100 pieces. The contact dimensions are 6.3 x 0.8 mm, corresponding to the most widely used flat connector standard in European automotive and electrical installation practice. Red colour coding identifies the 0.5–1.5 mm² range in accordance with the international colour convention for insulated connectors. The reinforcement sleeve protects the conductor at the point where the insulation ends and the crimp section begins, absorbing mechanical stress and vibration before they reach the electrical contact zone. The combination of sleeve and tab in a single component allows a male flat contact and a female receiving element to be housed simultaneously within one connector housing. Suitable for use in vehicle electronics, trailer wiring and industrial wiring applications. Can be crimped using standard crimping tools for insulated connectors.
