| Description | These French-style wire ferrules are designed for conductors with a cross-section of 6.0mm² and are supplied in packs of 100 pieces. The green colour coding follows the DIN 46228 standard for identifying wire ferrules by conductor size, enabling fast and error-free recognition in complex control cabinets and industrial installations. At 6.0mm², these ferrules are typically used on conductors carrying higher current loads, such as in power and earthing circuits of control panels and distribution boards. The ferrule fully encloses the stripped conductor end, mechanically securing individual strands and guaranteeing a stable, reliable connection on screw or spring-clamp terminals. The French design offers an extended insulation sleeve compared to the standard variant, providing additional support when inserting into terminals with a deeper cable entry. The ferrules are manufactured from electrolytic copper with a tinned finish, ensuring minimal contact resistance and lasting protection against oxidation.
