| Description | These French-style wire ferrules are designed for conductors with a cross-section of 4mm² and are supplied in packs of 100 pieces. The orange colour coding complies with the DIN 46228 standard, enabling immediate visual identification of conductor size in professional electrical installations and control cabinets. At a conductor cross-section of 4mm², these ferrules are widely used in power and control installations handling higher current loads. The ferrule protects the stripped conductor end against mechanical stress and prevents individual strands from loosening at the connection point, increasing the long-term reliability of the termination. The French design offers a slightly longer insulation sleeve than the standard variant, providing additional support during crimping and simplifying installation in densely populated cable ducts and panels.
