| Description | The EV charging cable Type 2 for 3-phase charging with a maximum current of 16A per phase and a length of 3 metres offers greater freedom of movement compared to the 2-metre variant without compromising on compactness. The cable is fitted with a Type 2 plug (IEC 62196-2) on both ends and supports 3-phase charging in accordance with the European IEC 62196 standard. At 3-phase 16A, the maximum charging capacity is 11kW, making the cable suitable for vehicles equipped with a 3-phase on-board charger that benefit from shorter charging times compared to 1-phase solutions. The cable length of 3 metres provides sufficient reach for use at home charging points, company car parks and public charging stations where the vehicle is not always parked directly next to the connection. The outer sheath is resistant to mechanical stress, UV radiation and varying temperatures, allowing the cable to be used daily both indoors and outdoors. The integrated locking mechanism in both Type 2 connectors prevents unintended disconnection during charging and ensures a stable connection throughout the entire charging process.
