| Description | The red Superseal blanking plug is a sealing plug designed for Superseal connectors, intended to fill unused cable positions sized for wire cross-sections of 2.5 mm² to 3.0 mm². The plug is inserted into any unoccupied cavity of a Superseal connector to preserve the ingress protection rating of the assembly. Without a blanking plug in each unused position, the connector loses its IP-rated seal, which in wet or dusty environments can lead to contact corrosion and connection failure. The red colour identifies this plug as compatible with the 2.5 to 3.0 mm² cavity and enables quick visual verification during assembly and maintenance.
