| Description | This converter allows a trailer fitted with a 13-pin 12V plug (ISO 11446) to be connected to a towing vehicle equipped with a 7-pin 12V socket (ISO 1724 or ISO 3732). The adapter maps the 7 available contacts from the vehicle to the 13-pin layout of the trailer, ensuring that all standard lighting functions are correctly transmitted. Signals such as left and right indicators, brake lights, tail lights, reverse lights and the 12V auxiliary supply are routed via the internal circuitry to the appropriate pins of the 13-pin output. This type of adapter is frequently required when a newer trailer with a 13-pin plug is coupled to an older vehicle with a 7-pin installation.
